Nicolas de GROOT is a student at the University of Ottawa and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Musicology with a specialisation in medieval and Renaissance studies. His thesis, in collaboration with advisor Dr. Geneviève Bazinet, focuses on early music prints published in Salamanca. This conference paper, written with Dr. Pascale Duhamel, represents his first foray into professional Musicology. Nicolas graduated from Gettysburg College in 2018, where he received his Bachelor of Music in piano performance with a concentration in music composition and worked with Dr. Jocelyn Swigger and Dr. Avner Dorman.
