Richard FREEDMAN is John C. Whitehead Professor of Music and Associate Provost at Haverford College. He is author of Music in the Renaissance, 2 vols (W. W. Norton, 2012), and Director of The Lost Voices Project and Citations: The Renaissance Imitation Mass. He has also contributed to dozens of articles in New Grove, Musical Quarterly, Early Music History, Journal of Musicology.
