Paweł GANCARCZYK is Associate Professor in the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Head of the Department of Musicology and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Muzyka. His main areas of research are the musical culture of late-medieval Central Europe, manuscript studies and early music printing. Gancarczyk is Principal Investigator in the project “Music in the Teutonic Order State in Prussia: Sources, Repertoires, Contexts” (2019–2022). His monograph on Petrus Wilhelmi de Grudencz and Music in 15th-Century Central Europe is to be published in 2021.
