Lucia DENK is a candidate for the Master of Arts in Musicology at Dalhousie University, with a focus in medieval plainchant. She also holds an undergraduate degree (B.M.) in piano performance from Salem College. Past positions include that of cataloguing assistant at the Moravian Music Foundation in North Carolina; currently, she is a Research Assistant for Cantus Ultimus/Cantus Planus. Her current research examines Mariological allusion within the compositions of Hildegard of Bingen, as well as in offices of female saints.
