Laine TABORA was born in Riga, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in music pedagogy and choral conducting in Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music. In Rome she obtained a Masters degree in Gregorian chant in 2017 at the Pontificio Istituto di Musica Sacra (PIMS) with Prof. Dr. Franz Karl Prassl. She is now working on a dissertation on 15th-century manuscripts from a Cistercian nunnery of Riga.
