Jesse RODIN is Associate Professor of Music at Stanford University. He has published widely on Renaissance music, including a monograph on Josquin’s tenure in the Sistine Chapel and a volume of L’homme armé masses for the New Josquin Edition. Recent publications include an essay on Josquin’s mensural practice in the January 2021 issue of Die Tonkunst. He directs the “Josquin Research Project” (josquin.stanford.edu) and the vocal ensemble Cut Circle (cutcircle.org).
