Federico SAVIOTTI is a Research Associate and Lecturer in Romance Philology at the University of Pavia, Department of Studi Umanistici. The main focuses of his investigations, which accord major importance to textual and material philology as well as to languages, genres and registers interference, are medieval lyric poetry (in particular troubadour poems and the relationship between texts and musics), French didactic verse production and the cultural milieu of 13th century Arras.
