Fabrice FITCH studied composition at the Conservatoire National de Région de Bordeaux, at McGill University, and with Brian Ferneyhough. In 1995 he obtained his Doctorate in Musicology from Manchester University with a study on the masses of Ockeghem. In 2018 he was Senior Research Fellow at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (Glasgow). Since September 2020 he is Temporary Lecturer in music at the University of Edinburgh. His new monograph, Renaissance Polyphony, commissioned by Cambridge University Press, appeared in the summer of 2020.
