Emilio ROS-FÁBREGAS is a Researcher at the CSIC (Spanish National Research Council), Institució Milà i Fontanals of Research in Humanities (IMF), Barcelona. He obtained his PhD in Musicology at the Graduate Center, City University of New York, CUNY. His research concentrates on Spanish music of the Renaissance, historiography of Hispanic music in an international context, and digital musicology, as director of Books of Hispanic Polyphony (https://hispanicpolyphony.eu) and the Fondo de Música Tradicional IMF-CSIC (https://musicatradicional.eu). Since 2019 he is director of Anuario Musical (Editorial CSIC, 1946-), Spanish oldest Musicology journal.
