Cassiano BARROS holds a Bachelor of Music Degree (2001 – Majors in Conducting and Harpsichord), Master in Music (2006) and PhD in Music (2011) from the State University of Campinas – Unicamp. Barros is devoted to teaching and research, focused on Musicology and History of Music Theory (ancient poetics and musical rhetoric). Currently, Barros holds a postdoctoral position at Santa Catarina State University – Udesc, granted by CAPES.
