Anne HEMINGER is Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Tampa, where she teaches music history and theory. Her current book project, Confession Carried Aloft, considers the role of religious music in the competing nation-building projects of Edward VI and Mary I in England’s capital. Her work has been published in Early Music History and the volume Celebrating Lutheran Church Music, and she has two further articles on Christopher Tye’s The Actes of the Apostles (1553) in progress.
