Andrew KIRKMAN is Peyton and Barber Professor of Music in the University of Birmingham; from 1997-2012 he was a professor in the Music Department at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Earlier posts were at the Universities of Manchester, Bangor and Oxford. Three monographs including two books for CUP The Cultural Life of the Early Polyphonic Mass (2010) and Music and Musicians at the Collegiate Church of St Omer (2020). Articles in JAMS, JM, EMH, Early Music, Music and Letters, etc. 13 CDS with Hyperion Records with The Binchois Consort.
